It took me like an hour..I wrote a poem, but it took like an hour. I was upset over the whole friend thing, but I just misunderstood. But I was sad when I wrote it sooo XD School Uniforms..?Okay, so my entire school with the exception of me and Elizabeth, has gone crazy because we have the possibility of wearing a uniform. Okay, seriously!"Well, I'll just make a petition and everyone will sign it and they won't make the uniforms." WRONG. Just because the school chooses to whine about it, doesn't change ANYTHING. AT ALL. The principal isn't gonna be like "Aww! Poor little MIDDLE SCHOOLERS are crying! Looks like we'll have to stop making uniforms." She's gonna say "Uhm, I signed up to be a middle school principal, not a kinder garden teacher." "If they make us wear them, I'll roll them up so they are at my length of choice," Have fun getting suspended! You dressing like a.. bad word.. isn't going to change anything except maybe the uniform and your permanent record. Eventually they are just gonna make the uniforms horrible, like.. Idk.. Something you can't roll up and make short. No one wants to see your butt, or your thighs, for that matter. "I just won't wear it," What are you gonna do then? Wear normal clothes and get expelled.. or even suspended? Have fun. "I'll transfer schools," That won't work either! If they do it, it will go through the school board and then the state, and then it has to become a law. So EVERY SCHOOL IN NEVADA will have to have some kind of uniform. It probably won't happen after break, anyway, if they want to make it a law, so stfuuu. "It's gonna be ugly! We might as well go naked!" Excuse me? Like any of YOUR clothes are anybetter. Half of you at the school are half naked the way you dress anyway. AND WHO CARES IF YOU DONT LIKE IT? They are just clothes, and they don't say ANYTHING about you. My entire school is made up of babies! I mean, they are signing petitions, flipping the teachers off, and throwing complete tantrums over a POSSIBILITY. Its like throwing a tantrum because you have the POSSIBILITY of dying tomorrow! Grr. Sorry. I be done with that rant. Kenz, can you like, post why you and bri hate them so much? I don't understand. One of my friends stormed away from lunch today, and when I caught up with them, I kept asking what was wrong and they wouldn't tell me. I was blocking their locker, and I go "C'mon! What's wrong??" And the friend just snaps at me and goes "Just LET ME GET INTO THE LOCKER." So I walk off. Then on the bus, I ask them what was wrong, and they said it was cause I wouldnt let them in the locker, and then I said "I did it cause you wouldnt tell me what was wrong." And the friend said "Maybe I didn't want to." And that just completely crushed me. I mean, we're supposed to be friends, CLOSE ONES at that, and yet they can't tell me why they randomly stomped off like a two year old? It hurts to know I can't be trusted. I'mmmm done. My English teacher, Mrs. Lowther scolded. "Well, fine. How do I bring my mark up?" I asked, not really caring what she had to say. "Since you are completely failing my class, I'm going to give you a big assignment. If you can pass it, Ill raise your grade from an F to a B-. Sound fair?" "Sure." All the sudden I was dreading the assignment. If she's gonna raise my grade THAT much, the project must be huge. Fun. "I want you to do a project that I call the 'new student' project. Tomorrow, I want you to come to school and look completely different. Make up a name for yourself, wear different clothes and see me in the morning. If you can keep this identity up for 2 weeks, Ill raise your grade. So, get rid of the blonde hair, and wear older, not so skimpy looking clothing. Ill tell everyone tomorrow that you had a family emergency and that you wont be back for 2 weeks. Ill let the other teachers in on the project." I gasped in horror. She just asked me to give up my popularity for 2 weeks. But this would save me from getting my laptop and computer taken away, wouldn't it? I can't ride in my limo anymore. Oh no. I'll have to take the gross, poor people bus. Ewww. "ew! Ill have to ride the bus! Are you serious? Why can't I just do the assignments from earlier in the year that are sitting somewhere in my room?" "I want you to do this, Arabeth. See you tomorrow." I grabbed my bag and walked towards the door. As I durned the knob, somebody else was trying to open it. I sighed, annoyed, and let whoever it was open the door. It turned out to be some goth chick. She started to say something, but I just held my hand up and shoved my way past her. My limo was waiting, and I had no time for her and her black clothing and dirty hair. When I got home, I left a note for my parents telling them I had to go pick stuff up for a school project. Not that I cared if they knew where I was, but they saw me as their perfect, angelic little girl, and so they let me do what I wanted, when I wanted. That's the only reason I agreed to the project, I wanted to keep that trust with my parents. I had C's in every other class, and that's average, so they were fine with that. When I got into the store, I bought a shirt a size too big to hide my curves, I didnt want ANYBODY to notice. The shirt was black, that said in a huge, white font "I am what I am. Don't judge me." I also bought a pair of black flare jeans. I bought a couple more pairs of jeans and 6 more t-shirts, and went to checkout. I didn't buy shoes, I figured I could take a pair of my moms shoes. On the way out of the store, I realized I needed to get a new binder and a minimal amount of school supplies for the next 2 weeks. The next place I went was a wig shop. There was no way I was going to dye my actual blonde hair. I had the people at the counter specially edit one of the wigs. The wig I picked out had short, black hair, and I had them put purple streaks in it. It costed me $50 extra, but money wasnt an issue. They showed me how to put it on, and I left. The last stop was my eye doctor. Since I already wore contacts that changed my normally dark blue eyes to a purple-ish color, I just had him give me contacts that didnt change the color. He said they'd be ready in the morning. When I awoke in the morning, I dressed in my normal clothes, forgetting about the project. As I was putting my contacts in, I randomly started to think about the project. I ran around my master bedroom, taking off my normal clothes and putting on the new ones. I put my wig on, and headed out the door. I had Charlie, my driver, take me to get my contacts. The secretary gave them to me, I put them on and put my other ones in their case. When we were about a block away from my school, I realized that I shouldve taken the bus. I had Charlie pull onto a random, vacant street, and walked from there. As I was looking around the area I was walking in, I noticed very light footsteps behind me. I stopped, and turned around. The girl smiled, and caught up with me. As I saw her face, I could see she was the girl I completely ignored yesterday. "Hi There. Are you new? I'm Delilah." "Yeah I'm Ara-.. A ra..iny student! I love the rain! haha? My name is uhm... Adara. (uh-dare-uh)" "Nice to meet you, Adara. Can I see your schedule?" I gasped. I don't have my schedule. It's the same as it was. "Uhm.. I ohno! I must've forgotten it. But I know all my classes." I started listing off my classes. It turns out we have sixth period together, English. How had I not noticed her before? I continued through the day, pretending to be the new kid and getting glared at by the group of people Arabeth used to be friends with. But Adara couldn't even associate with them. And then sixth period came. Mrs. Lowther winked at me, and I sat down in my usual spot. And then, the whole room went silent. "Excuse me, new girl? Who do you think you are, sitting in Arabeth's seat! Go curl up in the corner and cut yourself like a good little girl," My best friend, Aubrielle said viciously. I never realized until now how RUDE me and my friends were. I stood up and took the empty seat next to Delilah. "What were you thinking? You're lucky that the teacher was in here! She would've slapped you!" Delilah said, astonished. "I don't see her name on it.." I mumbled. "Better not say that to her face. Arabeth is the queen bee of this school, and her friends are no better. Everybody except for me wants to be her friend, because she is popular. Even her friends dont like her. They just want her popularity." What? My friends liked me.. didnt they? I proceeded to try and pay attention to Mrs. Lowther, as she told everyone about Arabeth's family emergency. And then, behind me, I heard a faint chorus of "yesss". I turned around, and Matt and his friends, Jacob and Michael were sitting in the desks behind me. "What's with all the yes-es?" I questioned him. "Are you kidding me? Arabeth is not going to be here for 2 weeks! That gives us some time to store some air before she comes back and screams at us for 'using all of her air'," "She cant be that bad!" I said back. It really hurt to know that my crush hated my guts. "Miss Adara, do you have something you'd like to say?" Mrs. Lowther said, trying not to smile. "No." I answered, and smiled at her. When the bell rang, I purposely took my time gathering my things, so I could talk to mrs. Lowther. "Yes, Adara?" She smiled and continued working. "This is torture! My friends are so mean! I can't even talk to them!" "That was the point. You still have the rest of this week and all of next week to go, if you want your grade up." "Fine." When I walked out the door, I noticed Matt still waiting outside the classroom. "Hey, I never got to seriously introduce myself. I'm Matthew, but I go by Matt. What's your name?" "Ad-ad-adara." I stuttered. This was the first time he had ever talked to me personally. "Can I have your number? I want to get to know you better. You're adorable.. blushing, stuttering.." Him stating that didn't help anything. "Sure, but why are you talking to me? There are other popular girls like Arabeth and Aubrielle." "They are just mean! They normally make fun of girls like you, no offense, and it's rude. Plus, you are a lot cuter than any of them." I gave him my other phone number. I had an extra cell phone that had pre-paid minutes on it for emergencies. Then I left the building, walked for a block and turned into an empty street and called Charlie to come and pick me up. When he finally arrived, I quickly slid into the car, and told him to go. What a day it had been! I had learned that my crush hated my guts, Delilah wasn't so bad, and I'm a complete JERK! But I would still take all that and go back to my previous lifestyle. This one wasn't any better than the other, so why give it up? I got home, and immediately ripped the wig off. I now looked like myself, except for the clothing. I took a shower and changed, and then I heard a faint "who cried a river and drowned the whole world," coming from my dresser drawer. Matt! I had totally forgotten. "Hello?!" "Hey, you. What are you up to?" just that simple statement had me blushing. "Uhm.. ah nothing? Uh, reading. You know.. gotta catch up on the-a.. reading," I laughed nervously. "I swear you are the most adorable girl ever. I bet you're blushing already, too." "Shut up!" I teased. "It's your issue, not mine. But anyway. What are you reading?" I gasped. I wasn't reading anything. I quickly dashed across my room and looked at the 3 books on my shelf, all gifts from relatives who didn't know I didn't read. "Adara?" "OH. Uhm, yeah, sorry. I am uh.. readingggg..the flute.. haha? beginner!" Oh my God I am so stupid! A BAND BOOK?! He chuckled. "You're reading a band book, eh? Sounds interesting. Wanna know what would be even more interesting?" I could hear the smile in his voice.. which made me nervous. "Yeah! Sure.. Why not? I mean.. anything has to be more interesting than reading a band book because I'm not even in band and-," "You're rambling! And blushing now, I bet. Anyway. Wanna take a walk? I'll come pick you up.." "I was not! Uhm, sure.." I thought about his last statement. "OH WAIT WAIT WAIT. You can't.. I will.. Let's meet at the park.. kay?" "Okay, Okay, Geeze, lady. Calm yourself and breathe. I'll be there in 10." "Bye.." I hung the phone up. As I went to the mirror to put my wig back on, I noticed how crimson my face was. He was the only one who had ever done that to me and my face. I grabbed a dress Arabeth would wear. It was pink and went down to my knees. It was a low cut, and had thin straps. It had a white bow right where the V-neck ended. I loved it. I slipped my new black hoodie over that, and brushed my wig. I also slipped on my pair of black flats. As I was headed out the door, I remembered we were going to a park and put white short shorts under my dress. After all, I loved the swings, and I was excited. After I had been standing out side for a good 20 minutes, my eyes started watering. He stood me up, I'm freezing, yet I still want to stay and wait, just in case. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I immediately perked up. He came. But as I listened closer, I noticed there was more than one person. What the? Before I could turn around, someone covered my mouth and tied something around my eyes. I screamed and kicked, until someone tied my legs together.. Okay. XD There's some.. XD Woo And OHNOKay, so one of the fellow bloggers on her, MichaelaMae, has to stop using the computer.
