The Life of Dancinkayley

Other random stuff...

1:46 PM, 24 January 2009 .. 0 comments .. Link

I beat Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon 100%. I also got a chance to play the DS version on my friend's DS. I thought the DS version was pretty good with the combat though I didn't like the flight levels. There was no point to even try to dodge because it felt like I was getting hit even when it looked like I was out of reach. I also beat Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 and evolved Kayleuetski and Ember to Blastoise and Infernape. I died in Zero Isle West again today (only on like the 14th floor because a Drifloon used that ability that speeds up attacks) while searching for the Amber Tear, so I sent out an SOS message over Wi-Fi and then decided to restart my game on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1.

I took the quiz, got the timid type again (Mudkip), but decided to pick Charmander for my partner instead. I named them Kayleuetski (Kayleutski to be exact) and Ember, same as my starter and partner on PMD 2. Tiny Woods was easier than ever, Thunderwave Cave was pretty easy too. Then I got a chance to pick a job, so I picked three in Thunderwave Cave, did them all easily, then got to go to Mt. Steel. I did it straight away even though I was only level 7. I had to use a Reviver Seed on the first floor haha but managed to make it the rest of the way, even the Skarmory boss battle, without needing another one. (I had a sleep seed and some gravelerocks so it was pretty easy.) I did a couple more jobs in Mt. Steel but turned off my DS afterwards (I did save though). I haven't done any more yet. For some strange reason I decided to call my rescue team Gardasil. It was the first word that popped into my head. At least it's better than Rescue Team Buzz, which is what it was before :P

Rescued!

12:38 PM, 17 January 2009 .. 0 comments .. Link

I got rescued by some team called Pokepals this morning. I wish people would at least call their team something OTHER than the default name, just to make things slightly more interesting! I gave them a pretty decent reward (in my opinion). I don't remember what it's called. It's an item with a 2 star rarity, specifically for Mime Jr. *checks Serebii.net* Serebii.net says it's a Mimic Pebble. Yep, that sounds just about right. I'd gotten the components for it in chests that I found in dungeons while I was waiting to be rescued. (Yes, in this game you can explore dungeons while waiting to be rescued. You just can't level up in them.)

I did a few rescue missions over Wi-Fi today, Miracle Sea B2F, Temporal Tower 4F and Blizzard Island 17F (I think). Foe-Fear orbs make monster houses pretty easy, especially with Dynamo and Roar of Time. I pretty much just turn off Roar of Time until I can get Dynamo in a monster house (which doesn't happen often because it's hard to get all three Pokemon in my team in a monster house because Ember just sits in the way and won't move). Then I turn off all of Dynamo's moves and then turn Roar of Time back on so that most Pokemon there get a good amount of damage done to them.

I sent the person who fainted in Temporal Tower an Escape Orb with the A-OK mail. I sent my Dialga, Dynamo to the other two people since she won't disappear in my game.

I haven't gotten any Thank-You mails back yet (I haven't even gotten a Thank-You mail back from rescuing someone like a week or two ago) but I haven't checked since this morning. I might have lunch then check again, but I have some feeling that I may not get anything.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 SOS- Zero Isle West

1:43 PM, 15 January 2009 .. 0 comments .. Link

For no real reason, I tried out Zero Isle West today. I lasted 19 floors, with Kayleuetski and Ember, as well as a Chikorita and a Piplup (I believe their names were Cooper and Polo). Anyway, on the 20th floor, Ember got knocked out by some other random Pokemon, then Kayleuetski got knocked out (I had no Oran Berries or Reviver Seeds left and luck was against me). I sent out for a rescue through Wi-Fi, and so far, no A-OK mail has come back yet. My rescue number is 0000-0037-6453 if anyone wants to rescue me. I might give it a couple of days, less, if I'm feeling impatient, before I give up awaiting rescue. This exploration isn't really that important to me, I'm just trying to see how far I can go in a level 1 dungeon really.

While waiting, I just mucked around exploring random dungeons and collecting all of the gummis and treasure. Kangaskhan Storage keeps on filling up :P I seem to be finding more Yellow Gummis than any other kind of gummi.

Oh and for those who don't have Wi-Fi, don't mind Zero Isle and want to be the rescuer, here's my SOS password.

New games :P

9:40 AM, 14 January 2009 .. 1 comments .. Link

I got a couple of new games at the end of last year for Christmas. I have Wii Fit and The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for the Wii (and Monopoly, only because it came in a value pack with Wii Play and another Wiimote :P) and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. I've beaten DotD but not 100% yet (still got a few blue gems lying around in some levels) and the main storyline of PMD 2 (not the post-story because I'm dragging it out because I don't want it to end!).

In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, I somehow winded up with the Bold type, Squirtle. I really don't know how. On PMD 1 I was called "the timid type" (Mudkip) which is just too true in my opinion! I'm happy being Squirtle though, I prefer Squirtle over Mudkip. Looking at a couple of guides, if I remember correctly, if I had wound up as being the timid or lonely type as I thought I would be, I would have been Turtwig (timid) or Mudkip (lonely). I'm glad that the Sinnoh starters (and nearly all other Sinnoh Pokemon) are on this game, Chimchar's one of my favourites! So my starter was Squirtle and my partner was Chimchar. I named the Squirtle Kayleuetski, after the imaginary me. I named the Chimchar Ember, after my very first Tamagotchi, who was named after the female dragon on Spyro: A Hero's Tail. (Though afterwards I found out that my partner was male! Whoops. Well, at least Ember can suit both genders and I guess it makes sense, calling a Chimchar Ember...) Come to think of it, if I had gotten my very first Tamagotchi a couple of years later, I would have probably called it Cynder (though I'd probably have to squish it up as "Cynda" or something like that), which may resulted in my partner being called Cynder as well.

I named my team Team Xiniyan, after the school in my imaginary world because I'm weird like that. Besides, I like the name Xiniyan. Team Xiniyan is currently Hyper Rank with a Secret Rank star. The storyline in this game was quite good and brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion, while PMD 1's story only managed that at one point (the end of the main storyline). I won't spoil any surprises ;) My team generally consists of Kayleuetski and Ember, as well as either Dynamo (my Dialga) or Umi (my Quagsire who was my first recruit). There are missions in this game where you must have a specific type of Pokemon on your team to complete the mission. So far, for these I've had to use Anja, my Roserade, Chiara, my Aerodactyl or Quinn, my Houndour.

I like how I'm able to hold more than just 20 items in this game (currently I can hold 48: 6 pages with 8 on each page). I also like how the menu options don't appear as squished together as they did back on PMD 1 (or maybe PMD 1's options just look like that now because I'm so used to PMD 2 now). It makes it a lot easier to use the stylus. There's also a couple of extra buttons on menus and lists and stuff that are actually quite easier to touch with the stylus. Back on PMD 1, when I was trying to toggle between pages of dungeons (with my stylus because for whatever reason I'd feel like doing so), I'd accidentally touch the top one on the list and go to that dungeon even if I didn't want to go there! At least on PMD 2 whenever you want to go to a dungeon, it asks for confirmation first. One thing I don't like about this game, though, is the limited storage space. Each item is stored separately in storage making a LOT of pages to flick through (though you can search for specific types of items by touching the search icon). There's a limit to how many items you can store overall, while on PMD 1, you could store more than one of every type of item. There were limits as to how many of each item you could store (for example, it was 999 for Gravelerocks) but it wasn't as strict as this game! That's probably the only thing that I dislike about the game so far. That, and the fact that the storyline just seemed so short! The storyline made me want to play more to find out what happens next, but at the same time, when I got near the end, I didn't want it to be over so soon!

Now, just so you don't have to hear any more ramblings about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, I'll start rambling about DotD! DotD has been very different to TEN, but I think it's for the better. The camera can be a real pain sometimes, though. It will get stuck at some angle and won't rotate properly. I soon gave up trying! I like being able to control two dragons because if one gets low on health I can simply switch over to the other and use that dragon's health bar. If you're on single player mode, the other dragon will still do a couple of melee attacks every now and then (it still isn't that helpful in battle though) but thankfully won't lose health, so you don't have to be a protector. One thing I like to do is put Cynder in armour that will give her a bonus of doing a poisonous hit, so that if I'm controlling Spyro, she can still rack up quite a few hits from the poison damage. On more than one occasion, while controlling Spyro with not much left in the breath meter (therefore not being able to do too many elemental attacks), Cynder would have racked up something like 60+ hits while I'd be struggling to get to 16! I like being able to activate Fury and use Convexity breath, but I find Fury Mode's too short. Luckily there is armour that increases fury duration, but I keep forgetting to use it when I'm about to use Fury!

Flying at any time is nice, though the limit's annoying. I guess there has to be one though, or the game might have been too easy. Besides, what would the point of climbing vines be if you didn't have to climb them? I like the fact that the levels weren't straightforward and let me explore. Though in a couple of levels, it could be difficult to find out what you were actually meant to do. In one level, you're meant to find a cheetah in a cave but the cave's obscured by a waterfall. Sure, I'm pretty certain that that's been used in several games already (stuff hiding behind waterfalls) but because I was given a big valley to explore and I felt like I just had to cross it, I nearly didn't notice the waterfall cave that was close-ish to the start until I saw Sparx out of the corner of my eye, hovering near it. Ah well, at least it feels like I'm exploring again, something which I felt was lacking a bit in the past two Legend of Spyro games (in TEN for the Wii I never really had to think about where to go, except in the area with the button crabs).

The ominous loneliness

7:12 PM, 11 December 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link

Sometimes, I feel so lonely. The worst part is knowing that I'm the only one who I can blame for my loneliness. Somehow or other, everyone at school just fits together like a well-made jigsaw puzzle, while I am the one who doesn't fit. Like in those "imposipuzzles" or whatever they're called where you have those extra pieces that don't fit in. I currently feel like the typical nerd who reads too many books for her own good. Except for the fact that I don't read that much at all. I just have a reputation for reading books. You see, whenever I worry, it feels like my brains are spinning around in my head. Especially when I'm reading the same sentence over and over. Especially when I'm reading the same sentence over and over...

I'm currently just the reject in my class. Then again, I've never really tried to fit in. The other people just seem far too different for me to ever be able to get along with them. I'm one of those freaks who seems only too intent on keeping rules. Nobody else in my class cares. Whenever we have to do stuff in groups, everyone else always has a group that just seems so predetermined. There are a few people in my class who I like but I never get to work with them for group assignments and stuff like that.

That's why I half live in my imaginary world. Because I just feel so lonely in the real world.

Phobias

6:12 PM, 10 December 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link

I am such a phobia-laden person. Not just sometimes, all the time. I think I might have ligyrophobia, fear of loud noises. Honestly, every time a balloon pops I feel nauseous. Though for the most part I'm okay with balloons now. I just don't like them if they're helium or if people blow up to balloons to sizes that I never even thought possible. I also used to carry the fear of sharp objects though I'm not too bad with that one now either.

Believe it or not, it's my imaginary friends that help me. Xikun is an imaginary talking vacuum toilet (yes, you heard that right) who tells me lots of his words of wisdom. (I also wrote about him in my entry "Fear of Public Transport" which was written back on... January 23rd, 2008. Shows how much I post huh?) Ember is my Mametchi who has quite a few fears of her own and when she's not dealing with her own fears, she can actually be bothered to deal with mine. My imaginary friends at Xiniyan Academy (the imaginary me's school) try to make me look at the things I fear in a different light, which doesn't make them seem so scary any more. There are others in my imaginary world who try to help me too. The saddest thing is, I think I have more imaginary friends than real friends 0_o

I have gotten better since January though. For a start, I don't have a fear of public transport any more. Which is definitely a good thing, because I've got to take two trains to school every day next year. Well, every school day. I'm not in the least bit afraid of water, either, because:

I no longer care for any Tamagotchi.

Yes, I'm serious. Tamagotchi are what triggered my fear of water (except to drink, have a shower and other everyday things like that). You see, once I hit the high numbers (for generations), I became very obsessive about keeping my Tamagotchi alive, even though v1s are extremely easy to care for and care for well and take a while to die (though I don't think they take as long to die as v4s). I became scared that any water of any kind would permanently damage my Tamagotchi, even just one drop. As it is, my v1's A button is partially damaged by running through sprinklers one time (I didn't have a choice). It still works, I just need to press it firmly. (My mobile phone has the same problem with its 0 button.)

And now I've given them up I have no reason to worry any more. Another fear I had was leaving them somewhere out of carelessness or something of a similar nature. I'm also okay with going to my friend's house for a sleepover, even though her house is an hour away by car.

Another fear I've gotten over, far more longlived than my fear of balloons but a little less shortlived than my fear of going out of the house (which I don't have any more), is my fear of sharp objects. Most people thought that it was only getting injections that scared me and it was the pain that freaked me out. Well, they were wrong. It was all sharp objects and it was the thought that something is going to penetrate my skin that freaked me out. I really surprised everyone back in August when I got an injection and went in fearlessly and came out fearlessly, saying it didn't hurt. One of my friends said she had some tissues in her pocket specially for me and then accused me of wasting paper because I didn't need to use them! Some other people told me that I was brave or that they thought that I was going to freak out like I did in April this year. Honestly, I bawled my eyes out on that day.

Xikun told me that I wasn't really afraid of needles, it was me who had led myself to believe that I was. So armed with this knowledge, I tried my hardest to convince myself that I wasn't afraid. And it worked! Maybe I should try that with my other fears too and hope that it works. Funny how an imaginary talking vacuum toilet can be so helpful.

Fourth generation on my v5!

8:54 PM, 10 March 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link

Yes, yesterday was the last day I saw Torshique and Fiona, because Xikun watched the dating show.

The first time he watched, he was presented to a Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi. Since I've seen too many of them while trying to get the Mame family for my second generation, I declined.
The second time he watched he was presented to a Furawatchi/Violetchi. Since the first time I mated a Furawatchi/Violetchi with my Mametchi I ended up with the Smart Family and I want the blended family this time.
The third time he watched he was presented to a Yonepatchi. I accepted. The Yonepatchi (which I will now call Misa) evolved into Mamapatchi and Xikun evolved into Papamametchi.

They had three eggs. Yay! The eldest son and eldest daughter both hatched into Futabatchi, easygoing babies. The second son hatched into Mimifuwatchi, an intelligent baby. I named the eldest son Hannno, the eldest daughter Katherine and the second son Hikari. After an hour Hanno evolved into Mattaritchi, Katherine evolved into Tororotchi and Hikari evolved into Mausutchi/Mousetchi. I'm going to try and get more easygoing characters so I'm always choosing the third option for training. They should evolve into teenagers tomorrow afternoon if I'm not wrong.

Noon is still a Mametchi and the Matchmaker hasn't come yet. I think Noon will be eligible for Matchmaker visits either tonight or tomorrow night.

And lastly, the statistics.

I've tabbed up my v4...

9:53 AM, 9 March 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Noon is now a Mametchi. Yet another Mametchi.

The low battery symbol showed up on my v4, so I've decided to tab up my v4 for good. After all I don't particularly want to waste a $4 battery on a Tamagotchi version I don't even like.

And finally on to v5 news. Yes, I think I am a bit psychic when it comes to Tamagotchi growth. Two nights ago, Xikun evolved into Mametchi- what I guessed he would evolve into!

Being the stupid person I am, I saved up about 3 900G and then I bought the Girl's Dresser- and I already had the girl's dresser! So now I have to work up all that money again to buy the sesame pudding. I'm only 50G off.

Right now Xikun and Torshique are putting up the washing. This is probably the last day that I'm going to see Torshique because I think I can use the dating channel later today.

Here are the stats:

I must be psychic!

8:11 PM, 6 March 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Again, sorry for not posting as more stuff has happened.

Miera left me with her baby, which I named Noon. Noon was a Kinakomotchi as a child and is now an Ichigotchi.

I was aiming to get Gozarutchi on my v4, by always letting the hearts drop down to 1 before I gave any care at all. But- it didn't work! Nin became Pyonchitchi instead! Pyonchitchi is the only universal character I've ever had.

I must be psychic, because I thought Xikun would become a Mamekatchi for a teenager because I was using only the first item for training and yes, I was right! Now, here are my next guesses: I think that if I keep on using the first item I will get Mametchi and that Xikun will evolve tomorrow night. I'm still regularly visiting TamaEXPO to get more money.

Occasionally I see Xikun and one of his parents hanging up the washing together. And sometimes I see Xikun and one of his parents vacuuming together. Wow, they're more hardworking than me, hahaha!

Here are the stats, which you're probably sick of by now, but they do help me a little bit.

The Smart Family!!!

9:49 AM, 3 March 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Sorry for not posting for a couple of days!

I raised the family bonding percentage up to 70%. Then I decided to let Torshique marry.

I watched the dating channel. First the Matchmaker presented a Yonepatchi. I declined. Next, she presented a Furawatchi/Violetchi, so I accepted!

Torshique then said goodbye to his parents, then said goodbye to Xievere. Then Torshique spent some time with his new wife (which I'm going to call Fiona). They kissed and then evolved into their parental forms! Torshique evolved into Papamametchi as I expected. I expected Fiona to evolve into Mememamatchi for some reason but she didn't, she evolved into Mamametchi instead! So I was thinking, hmm, am I going to get the Smart Family?

Torshique and Fiona laid one egg which hatched into Mimifuwatchi, so I was thinking, "It's probably the Smart Family!!!" I checked the family bar, and yes, I did have the Smart Family!!

I'm going to call the Mimifuwatchi Xikun, since I'm still naming my characters after people in my imaginary world. Yes, I know, it might sound weird, but I like using my imaginary world as an escape from reality. Xikun is now a happy little Mausutchi/Mousetchi. I must be psychic or something, because during the Mimifuwatchi stage I had a really strong feeling that I would get Mausutchi/Mousetchi!!!

I've still been visiting TamaEXPO. I've earned enough money for a girls' dresser so I bought one from the shopping channel. It'll help if I get Watatchi in later generations (not now because I've got a boy).

Quoi married a Debatchi and had a boy baby. I'm now looking after the boy baby, which I named "Nin!". I'm aiming for Gozarutchi so I'm letting the hearts drop a lot before I care for it. Miera also married- she married a Masukutchi and also has a boy baby. However Miera is still looking after her baby.

Here are the stats:

My v1

Second generation on the v5!! I have the Mame Family!!

8:20 PM, 29 February 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Miera evolved into a Mametchi. I have now had countless Mametchi. On all of the Tamagotchi versions I've raised so far (except for my friend's v2, I had to hand it back when it evolved into a Yufotchi teenager) I have ended up with a Mametchi at some point or other.

Quoi got a job as a doctor, though she has not visited her job yet. I might visit it right now, just to get the 1 000p salary you get if you haven't visited your job in the previous day.

Today I was able to try out the dating channel! With a lot of time meddling, I tried the dating channel over and over, selecting Biekain every time. Here are the characters that the matchmaker brought but I refused:

1. Potetchi
2. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
3. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
4. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
5. Yonepatchi
6. Potetchi
7. Furawatchi/Violetchi
8. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
9. Potetchi
10. Memetchi
11. Watatchi
12. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
13. Watatchi
14. Furawatchi/Violetchi
15. Potetchi
16. Rabuzukintchi/Lovezukintchi
17. Potetchi

So after going through seventeen female Tamagotchi which I rejected, I tried the dating channel again and... a Chantotchi was presented to Biekain! I chose "MARRY!" and then Chantotchi left the TV screen. Then the Chantotchi came down to the Maude family's home.

Biekain said goodbye to Kayleuetski and Robert. Kayleuetski and Robert were really sad about it, then they left to return to the Tamagotchi World. That left Biekain with the Chantotchi. They kissed each other. Fireworks appeared and then Biekain and the Chantotchi evolved into Papamametchi and Mamametchi. Next, Biekain and the Chantotchi walked offscreen and soon two eggs appeared, which hatched into two Mimifuwatchi.

An hour later, the two Mimifuwatchi evolved into Mametchi and Chamametchi. Here is a picture (my first scan of my v5!):

Now, for the names I've decided to give my characters.

For no good reason, I'm going to give the Mamametchi a name as well. I will call her Ember, because the first Tamagotchi adult character I ever had was a female Mametchi called Ember on my v1. The Mametchi is called Torshique and the Chamametchi is called Xievere.

Here are the stats now:

My first set of adults on the v5!

9:19 AM, 28 February 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday, I had dancing last night. And I got fitted into pointe shoes... I'm kinda excited and nervous about starting pointe. That'll keep me on my toes! (Sorry for the bad joke.)

Miera is still an Ichigotchi. She should evolve this afternoon. At least this gives me a chance to get her discipline bar full.

Quoi is now a Memetchi (she evolved yesterday afternoon). Thank goodness that now she's an adult I'm free to play Shape to my heart's content. She should be getting a job interview letter today.

Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert evolved yesterday morning!! Biekain is now a Mametchi, Kayleuetski is now a Chantotchi and Robert is now a Sukatchi. I've used the v5 substitute of Super Unchikun quite a lot, so now they have maximum bonding percentage! Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to check the dating channel a few times in an attempt to find a Chantotchi for Biekain. I'm going to try and get the Mame family!!

I visited TamaEXPO a few minutes ago and won a PC from the information booth, instead of 100G as normal. So now I have six items in my rare item list.

And now, here are the stats.

More rare items!!

7:21 PM, 26 February 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Miera and Quoi are still Ichigotchi and they're doing fine. I haven't really being playing any games with Quoi. I think I might just leave her skill points as is before I get tempted to play Shape and end up getting a Ponitchi/Ponytchi instead of a Memetchi. I much prefer Memetchi over Ponitchi/Ponytchi.

I think that Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert will evolve tonight. I've managed to work up enough money to buy the v5 equivalent of Super Unchikun so now the Maude family has a much higher bonding percentage! I'm still selecting the first item for training. I wonder what this will influence them to become. I'm kinda hoping that I'll get a Hatsugatchi, I really like that character!

I visited TamaEXPO and managed to win more items instead of Gotchi Points from some of the games. The rare items I won were the palette or whatever it's called (Chaotchi/Ciaotchi comes to visit Biekain when I use it), a plane ticket (JALtchi, my favourite character, visits the family when I use it!!), a Uniqlo t-shirt (Unikurotchi/Uniqlotchi appears on TV when I use it), and some sort of card (Nanakotchi/Nanacotchi appears on TV when I use it). In the rare category I also have a book which I got a few days ago.

I bought some more items from the street market on TamaEXPO... a candy house (which appears in the snack list) and a pinball machine (which appears in the item list).

Miera is now an Ichigotchi. That was perhaps the most likely thing for her to become, since she was a Kinakomotchi and the number on the generation counter is odd (even though she should technically be an even-gen character). The only other thing she could become is perhaps a Hinotamatchi. I don't think I've ever had a Kinakomotchi evolve into a Hinotamatchi, but I did read on one site that Kinakomotchi can evolve into Hinotamatchi/Oniotchi... I'm wondering whether that's actually true.

Quoi is also an Ichigotchi. She is now in school and her teacher is Ms. Flower. I am aiming for Memetchi though I'm unwilling to spend 2 and a half minutes playing ONE game of Dance to get those style skill points up!

Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert evolved!! Biekain is now a Mamekatchi, Kayleuetski is now a Chamametchi and Robert is now a Korokotchi. Perhaps it's a result of me having a bonding percentage of 30% at the time, or perhaps that I've used only the first item when training (those items are the metronome, conductor's baton, arrows with a dartboard and building blocks).

Here are the stats!

Biekain, Kayleuetski, Robert, Miera and Quoi?

6:36 PM, 24 February 2008 .. 1 comments .. Link
Junix left his baby last night so I got to care for her today. Her name is Miera and she is now a Kinakomotchi.

Zai also left his baby. I called her Quoi? Quoi means "what" in French. Quoi is now a Mohitamatchi. One thing I find interesting is though Miera is a few seconds older than Quoi, Quoi beeps for attention a few seconds before Miera. I've played a few games with Quoi, though not too many because I was helping my sis clean her room today.

I've bought the Merlion ornament on my v5. I checked the shopping channel a few times and once I saw the v5 equivalent of Super Unchikun and the Gotchi King DVD, but unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy either.

Yesterday when I was on TamaEXPO, I played the bookstore game and instead of getting money, I got a book! It is in the "rare" category. Whenever I use it, Jidoutchi comes and visits Biekain.

Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert have beeped for training quite a few times now, so I've managed to push that bonding up. Now, whenever I press C, Biekain comes up close and smiles at me! I've decided that if I do happen to get a Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi or Furawatchi, I'm going to meddle with the time to get that bonding up or it'll take ages. I do wish there are more ways to get the bonding percentage up on the first generation.

I think that Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert will evolve tonight. But since I put them on the travel channel for a couple of hours yesterday while doing dancing, they might not evolve before 9pm. If this happens, I'm just going to meddle with the time and wake them up. I'm dying to see what they evolve into!

Tamagotchi Family Life

Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert woke up at 7am this morning, as I expected. I made sure to wake up at 7am so I could care for them- or rather, play the games! I'm finding I don't mind the games on the v5 as much. Maybe because I don't have to play them, haha. You see, I don't particularly like the games on the v3 or the v4, maybe because I kinda have to play them- or rather, should.

I played some games before I went and had breakfast. I bought a balance biscuit and some kind of snack as well. Let me check what the foods I've bought are!! (Though I might not be correct because I'm reading off a scan of the Japanese Famitama manual.)

The "some sort of pasta" actually was pasta. The pudding thingy was a mango pudding. The balance biscuit is the balance biscuit, so I was correct there. And finally, the snack I bought is called "dorayaki" on the scan of the Japanese Famitama manual. I don't know what it means though.

I've caught Biekain looking in the fridge a few times now. I wonder what he wanted to get out of the fridge?

Not too long ago Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert beeped for training. They had a speech bubble with a music note over their head again. This time the choices had changed. I gave them a conductor's baton. So perhaps they'll be very rhythmical (is that even a word?- wait, I just checked, it is) when they grow up. Maybe the family members that return to the Tamagotchi World will become conductors there!!

Although I've given training twice, my bonding percentage still hasn't raised... I don't want to use passwords to get the special bonding items, because it feels like cheating to me.

Also, my Junix's baby got sick so I had to give two doses of medicine to cure it. Wow, it can take a long time to get an Oyajitchi but once you get an Oyajitchi, since you skip some stages, you only have it for a few days before the matchmaker's first visit!

Here are the stats. I'm expecting Zai and Junix to depart tonight and Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert to evolve tomorrow.

My v5!!

7:02 PM, 22 February 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Nothing much has happened, due to the almost excessive pausing because of school and dancing.

But I still have some good news!

I got a v5 yesterday! My mum said it was for my birthday present, but she didn't really mean that. She told me I could open it yesterday. She said she doesn't mind buying stuff I want because I don't get pocket money and I don't have a job. She said "think of it as your un-birthday present." Just so you know, the design I got was the yellow pets design.

I opened it but felt guilty so I tabbed it back up and stuck it back in the package. Though today I opened it, untabbed it and started to raise it, because I now have a good reason for giving it to myself! You see, I went on some challenge thingy which involves working as a team, though some activities are individual ones, such as going on a flying fox 8m above the ground and climbing up 10m to reach a tiny platform, then jumping off to reach a trapeze.

And I congratulated myself on being able to climb up 8m and get on the flying fox!! So opening my v5 was my reward!!

Here's a log of what I've done so far. I've named the family "Maude" because the imaginary me is called "Kayleuetski Maude." I decided to give all of the family members names and they're all named after some other people in my imaginary world.

4.43pm- Started up the v5.
4.44pm- The middle egg hatched into Pantsutchi/Omututchi. I called him Biekain. The left egg hatched into Mimifuwatchi. I called her Kayleuetski.
4.45pm- The right egg hatched into Futabatchi. I called him Robert.
4.47pm- I fed the family five meals.
4.48pm- I played the TV surfing game. I got up to the 7th round. I won 50G and filled two happiness hearts.
4.50pm- I played Tea Time. I got up to the 15th round. I won 70G and filled all of the remaining hearts.
4.52pm- I input the password in the mail. Repotchi/Reportchi came down and brought a balloon which made all of my Tamagotchi happy! (I didn't get to keep the balloon- I checked.)
4.54pm- I played Tea Time. I won!! I won 100G. A hunger heart emptied so I fed a meal.
4.56pm- The family was ill so I gave one dose of medicine to cure them.
4.57pm- I played TV surfing. I only got to the 1st round. I didn't win any Gotchi Points.
4.58pm- I played TV surfing. I got up to the 8th round. I won 70G. The Tamagotchi did a poo so I cleaned it up.
4.59pm- A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.01pm- I bought some sort of pudding for 250G from the Shopping Channel.
5.03pm- A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.07pm- I played Tea Time. I got up to the 17th round. I won 70G.
5.08pm- Kayleuetski used the duck-shaped potty. A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.13pm- A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.14pm- I played TV surfing. I got up to the 5th round. I won 10G.
5.16pm- Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert started having a nap.
5.21pm- Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert woke up.
5.22pm- I played Tea Time. I got up to the 15th round. I won 70G.
5.23pm- Kayleuetski used the duck-shaped potty. A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.27pm- I played TV surfing. I got up to the 7th round. I won 50G.
5.28pm- A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.31pm- I played Tea Time. I completed the game and won 100G!
5.33pm- Biekain used the duck-shaped potty. A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.34pm- I played TV surfing. I got up to the 5th round. I won 10G.
5.37pm- Played Tea Time. I only got up to the 2nd round. I didn't win any Gotchi Points.
5.38pm- A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.39pm- I played TV surfing. I got up to the 4th round. I won 10G.
5.43pm- Biekain used the duck-shaped potty. A hunger heart was empty so I fed a meal.
5.45pm- Played Tea Time. I completed all 20 rounds and won 100G!
5.46pm- Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert evolved into children! Biekain evolved into an Ahirukutchi, Kayleuetski evolved into a Sakuramotchi and Robert evolved into a Mattaritchi!
6.00pm- Biekain, Kayleuetski and Robert beeped for training. A speech bubble showing two quavers was shown over their heads. I gave them a metronome. I wonder what speed they put it to? Largo? Presto? Allegro scherzando or however you spell it?
6.22pm- I bought some sort of pasta or spaghetti.

I visited TamaEXPO and this is what I won from my visits:

1. 100G
2. 300G
3. 30G
4. 300G
5. Bought shell necklace for 650G

7. 100G
8. 100G
9. 100G
10. 100G
11. 100G
12. 100G

Not too long ago I noticed that Biekain was looking in the fridge. I wonder what he wanted to eat?

Yay!! I got two Oyajitchi- they evolved straight from Bebitchi and Tsubutchi!!

It's going to be very interesting to see if my v4 skips preschool and school or not. It will also be interesting to see what time the Matchmaker's first visit is. It will also be interesting to see if they will still beep for attention.

Just so you know, all the games on my v4 were unlocked straight after it evolved into Oyajitchi.

Sorry for leaving you all in the dark for so long! Especially as something really exciting has happened!!!

Qi evolved into an Ojitchi and Misa is now an Otokitchi! I mated them and now they have two boy babies... soon to become Oyajitchi! I'm so excited!

My v1's screen blanked out last night and I freaked out, especially since the baby (that's going to become Oyajitchi) was on the screen. I was looking for a screwdriver (pressing the reset button didn't work), but couldn't find one. Which didn't matter anyway, because when I dropped my Tamagotchi on the kitchen bench (only a few centimetres so nothing bad's happened) I heard a long beep, and an egg was on my screen and I was still able to download!

Here are the stats!

My v1

Me, trying to achieve Oyajitchi?!

7:42 PM, 7 February 2008 .. 0 comments .. Link
Sorry, I've been kinda busy so I haven't posted for the past few days.

I'm trying to get an Ojitchi on my v1, and an Otokitchi on my v4. Then I shall mate them and get Oyajitchi! Right now my v1, Qi, is a Kuchipatchi, and my v4, Misa, is an Ichigotchi.

I went on Tamatown just now and I have no idea why. I won a few thousand Gotchi Points to send back to my v4. So far I haven't been too bad with not playing games. I actually timed myself playing the games and found out this is how long the games take (this is approximate and not exact, because you might take longer or shorter in games like Mimic):

Jumping Rope: 1min 50sec
Mimic: 3min
Shape: 1min 30sec
Dance: 2min 30sec
Flag: 1min 40sec

I was really surprised about Flag being only 10sec longer than Shape. Still, Bandai, it can be hard to find the time to play a game for one and a half to three minutes, just to make my Tamagotchi lose 3g of weight! On the v1, you could jump three hurdles or complete one round of the dancing game (both tasks take only 30sec to complete) and ta-da, three grams lost!

Enough complaining from me, here are the stats.

My v1

Training- 9/9
Age- 9yr
Weight- 33g
Name- Qi
Gender- Boy
Generation- 99th (technically 100th)
Species- Kuchipatchi

My v4

Kindness- 78
Age- 2yr
Weight- 0lb
Name- Misa
Gender- Girl
Generation- 4th
