Ethan's Life

I'm back!

{ 12:08 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2009 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Yeah, I know. I haven't posted in months. A lot has happened. The GCSE options I eventually took were: History, ICT, Expressive Arts, and Graphics. I am now studying those subjects in year 10 at school, along with English, Maths, Science, P.E, Religious Studies, and PSHE. The school year has gotten off at a somewhat rocky start. But it's fine now.

I remember watching the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in May. It was awesome!! I remember when Gabriel and I were watching the second Semi-final live on the website, and we really wanted the Norwegian entry to get to the final. And then we jumped up a screamed with joy around the house when they announced that Norway had gotten through to the final. Then we watched the final live on BBC HD. The quality was awesome! I remember being nervous when they got to the UK entry, wondering if Jade Ewen's singing was going to be in tune or not. By the end of her performance, I was impressed. And fifth place for the UK! That's brilliant considering what the UK has been getting in recent years. I wanted Alexander Rybak from Norway to win! And he did!! WOOHOO!! Norway won the Eurovision Song Contest 2009! That means they get to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. It'll be awesome. My favorite entries this year were:

Malta - 1 point
Portugal - 2 points
Finland - 3 points
Israel - 4 points
Russia - 5 points
Sweden - 6 points
Azerbaijan - 7 points
Turkey - 8 points
Armenia - 10 Points
Norway - 12 points

The results were:
1st - Norway with 387 points
2nd - Iceland with 218 points
3rd - Azerbaijan with 207 points
4th - Turkey with 177 points
5th - United Kingdom with 173 points
6th - Estonia with 129 points
7th - Greece with 120 points
8th - France with 107 points
9th - Bosnia & Herzegovina with 106 points
10th - Armenia with 92 points
11th - Russia with 91 points
12th - Ukraine with 76 points
13th - Denmark with 74 points
14th - Moldova with 69 points
15th - Portugal with 57 points
16th - Israel with 53 points
17th - Albania with 48 points
18th - Croatia with 45 points
19th - Romania with 40 points
20th - Germany with 35 points
21st - Sweden with 33 points
22nd - Malta with 31 points
23rd (joint) - Lithuania AND Spain with 23 points
25th - Finland with 22 points

Now all I have to do is wait for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

It was my birthday last Monday, and I got a 5TH GENERATION iPOD NANO!! A friend at school named Charlotte lost my old iPod when I lent it to her in July. Now I have a new iPod Nano with a built-in video camera! Also for my birthday, my best friend Brodie gave me... A TAMAGOTCHI MUSIC STAR!! It is the black one with headphones on it and a blue Mametchi guitar pick! The one I wanted! Thanks Brodie! Check out my Tamagotchi diary on the links to the right of this page! I'm gonna try and continue looking after this Blogagotchi from now on.

Want one... WANT ONE...

Ohhhhh. I can't get it off my head. I really want a Tamagotchi Music Star!!

I really can't understand why my Mum won't let me have one! She said various reasons as to why I shouldn't play with a Tamagotchi. She says stuff like "It's gonna ruin your education, you're 14 years old so kids at school will bully you, you're too old to play with one," etc.

It's so annoying! It's not gonna ruin my education! In Christmas 2007, I got a Tamagotchi V4. After that, I always took it to school and I never paused it. And on my Easter report, I had perfect grades.

I will not get bullied at school for having one. Most people at my school so they hate Tamagotchis ( they call them "Tama-gay-chis), but nobody picks on me for having one! I sometimes get picked on. But they do it for VERY stupid reasons. Stuff like, I'm not going through puberty yet, I have not grown much hair on certain parts, I still have a high-pitched voice. THOSE reasons, NOT the Tamagotchis.

I keep on wanting to start a discussion with my Mother about it, and get it sorted (and I mean to have it sorted out PROPERLY, in a way that doesen't involve me playing with it until the battery runs out and then never playing with it again). But everytime I want to, I get scared. I'm sure she'd just get mad, say no and tell me to go away. And if I did, I'd bet my laptop that she would use my up-coming GCSEs as an excuse for saying no.

I really want one!!

Must choose...

{ 8:52 PM, Thursday, February 12, 2009 } { 0 comments } { Link }

I have to choose soon! I have until the 20th of February to choose.

I really don't know which one to choose out of Expressive Arts and French!

Choosing either one could affect my furture, and I'm really not sure which one I want!

Oh well, I'll cheer up by posting funny videos of cats.
