7/8/08: It has been a while has it not? I haven't written here in welll over a week now. Just to be honest, not a whole lot has gone on. :P I've been busy busy IRL as of lately, so that's been keeping me occupied. And yesterday family of mine came in from Toronto, so we're probly going to be busy with them here. Anyways..
I began my Japanese Ocean on the 23 of course, like I mentioned in my last log. He became the character of Taiyakitchi in his adult years. He's a character I welcomed back into my life once again. :) I love that little guy so much. He's the so called best character on the Japanese version. But sadly, he never lived long. He died at the age of 7 on the 30th. Poor old fellow.
Then on July 4th I decided to hatch my US version Ocean! The crown jewel of my collection, besides Mimitchi Tama of course. ;) I actually treated this guy horribly throughout the Kuragetchi stage, and it paid off too. I got the unhealthy teen, Kingotchi, for the first time ever. Not that I don't like Otototchi, but I was ready for someone new. Hopefully this will bring me a new adult character! I've been taking fairly average care of him, and trying to leave out a few disciplines since I hear you can get healthy characters from unhealthy teens. I guess I'll see whom I end up with.
Mimitchi Tamagotchi is still alive, very demanding in his old age of 26. He only has a day or two left before departing... :( I don't wanna deal with that. He's been with me everywhere lately, like always. We've just been enjoying everything for what it is, during the summer holidays. We watched a lot of TV these past couple of weeks, as well as movies. On Saturday we watched The Big White and it SUCKED. Okay I know that sounded mean, but some parts were funny. The girl in it was hilarious, but other then that I didn't like it.
Then yesterday we all took in some of the 60s, after watching 12 + 1: The Thirteen Chairs. I actually really liked it, and found it funny too. If your a fan of older movies you might like it, and normally I haven't been myself, but I really did like this one. It's about a guy named Mario who inherits a bunch of antique chairs from his aunt. After selling them off to a woman named Pat, he discovers that there is a fortune hidden under the cushions of one of the chairs. Pat sells off the chairs before Mario comes back to ask for them, and after that they embark on an adventure to hunt down the chair with the fortune. :P Nice little description wasn't it? Hehehe.
Gotta press save on this thing before it gets erased. Okay! I've been having all sorts of dreams in the way of Tamagotchi lately. I dream that I go into any store at all and find different types just laying around everywhere. The other night I specifically remember seeing a yellow US Angel, the white US Ocean with sea shells, and assorted P1s and P2s. :) I love when I dream about that, but it's so sad waking up and realizing it all to be a dream... If only, hehe.
My uncle and cousin have been here visiting this week from Toronto. In the past, I have always dreaded these visits, being that they can be very tense, and my uncle can be really impatient. The two times I met Tam, my cousin in the past, were always bad too. However, this time there was a change, and things are different. I spent some time with them at my grandparents the other night, and went out with them today, and they have really changed. :) For the better. It was a nice time we had today as well.
We went to the Geo Center, which is an underground display on Signal Hill here in St. John's. The rocks date back to years and years ago, and there is also a historical site of the Titanic, which I was really interested in. There were original props, like dinner sets, life jackets and equipment used in the Movie too, which was very cool. A lot of the information, like the books that were on display, and the posters and such I have collected over the years. I had a great interest in it for a time, when I was younger. So that was nice to see.
After that we went downtown and looked around some, and then I came home for my dinner. It was an outing I was very pleased with, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing them both again for the rest of the week that they are here.
I wasn't able to keep Mimitchi un-paused during this afternoon's outing. He is so needy that I didn't want to chance it. I also kept Ocean on pause while we were at the exhibit too. I sure do love little Kingotchi the fish. :)
That being said (not that I'm wishing my time away), once Ocean passes away, I'll be pulling out Osutchi & Mesutchi again! I'm so excited to hatch them again, they are amongst my favorites. :) I'm sure I'll do a couple of cross generation breeds like I did last time. I can't wait!!
I've also realized the fact that there are some Tamas I haven't played with much yet. My Mothra Tamagotch and Genjintch being two of them. There are also many adult characters that I have yet to get on Morino, the Lucky Unchikun poop on Angelgotchi, and Nytchi the cat on Japanese P2. I need to get to work!!
Hehe and what am I doing instead? Sitting here watching segments of Judge Judy on Youtube. I find that show hilarious, it's just priceless! And Judge Judy just puts the people in their place and takes them down every time! Love it. That's no excuse though, the Tamas need me!
I've rambled enough for tonight. I need to stop now, before I really begin to annoy people. :P I truly hope Mimitchi doesn't leave me tonight.... |
