Tamagotchi Log For 7/11/08

7/11/08: Well, it's been an interesting week. As I mentioned in my last log, we've had family visiting here from away, so things have been rather busy. No less that hasn't kept me from my Tamas. I shall start off by saying that I got the worst adult on Ocean this time around. I've had him before actually, Kaitchi the clam is his name. I love that little guy. :) I was happy to see him again.

I wasn't surprised that I got him either. I wasn't able to be the best caretaker for him, and often times he would beep at me with empty hearts. I did my best though, and once he became an adult I found him less needy, so I was better able to care for him from then on. Sadly he passed away today. The poor thing was only 7 years old.. I don't recall the age of the last Kaitchi I had a number of months back, but I know it was a young age he left as well. I watched him as he lay there with a sad look on his face, until finally a submarine appeared in his place. I shall be taking a break from Ocean for a little while, and get back to it in a month or so.

On Wednesday I felt the need to hatch my Genjintch, so I did just that after dinner time. He hatched from the usual little skull face, and was a DNA-tchi for the first hour of his life. He is now the little black blob. :) Since there are no names for the characters, other then the Babitchi character that is, that's how I refer to the characters, by their characteristics. Genjintch is a little more on the demanding side then a regular Tama per say, but not nearly as needy as Ocean. I'm hoping for any adult that I haven't gotten before this time, which is quite a lot considering I've only raised it twice before. His doing just fine at age 3, with 6 units of weight and the praise meter is half full.

In other news, yesterday I got my things together and hatched Osutchi & Mesutchi again! It's been so long, and boy am I happy to have them running again. I hatched them after lunch and raised them through the Babitchi stage. They were Kuritchi for the first hour and 13 minutes, and then they changed into MohiTamatchi. Today their discipline meter is filled completely, but I know they will make some selfish calls in this stage. ;) I'm really excited about raising them again, there is just something about these Tamas I love.

I'm hoping to be able to cross pollinate with the different generations again this time. That takes time and patience, but I loved doing it last time. The beauty of these guys is that you can keep them running as long as you want, so long as they're compatible each time. They're doing great at the age of 1 year old, 10 units of weight and 100% discipline right now. Quiet and content for the moment. :)

After all this time I still have Mimitchi here with me. He turned 30 years old today! Come on, I never paused that much! Okay I know I did, but it's only because I love my little buddy so much. Opps he just beeped, excuse me. He needed food.. :) I have a feeling he will be leaving sometime today or tomorrow. I'm ready whenever he leaves to raise him again. Can't live to long without him around, especially not during the summer!

Since it is the summer and all, I have a feeling I'll be hatching more Tamas over the course of this week. I want to take another try at Morino, and see if I can get a new adult. I also want to hatch my Mothra no Tamagotch if I can, since that's another one I haven't raised many times. Might also start my DigiMon's, maybe more, we'll see..

I've had mixed feelings all week about my relatives being home. The rest of my family who live here didn't make much of an effort to see them, so I ended up spending a lot of time with them to make up for everyone else's ignorance. My uncle has always been rather impatient, but I myself have never had a problem with him, and I got to know him a lot better this time. Yesterday they came in for dinner, and I had been dreading it, but it got much better as the night proceeded. My uncle even took an interest to my Tamas. :) Which was very cool.

On Sunday the whole family is going to gather at my grandparents for dinner. That is going to be an interesting night let me tell you. A couple of drunkens in the family will even be attending. I'll tell you this much - I'm gonna be really thankful to have my Tamas with me, and my parents to keep me company. :) And of course my grandparents, I love them very much too!

Anyways, I'm sure I'm gonna write more over the next few days. If interested, you can send me a message if you wanna hatch with me. I'll be doing a lot of that this week. :)

UpDate: Sad news.. Mimitchi passed away at 30 this afternoon. :( Poor little guy.. I said good bye to him and watched as he lay in his little bed. After the final beep tolled, I immediatly restarted another. He is now a Tonmarutchi with 50% discipline, and staying up late with me. I miss my little buddy already! I shall be working extra hard to get him back again this week. Anyways... it's late, so that's all I shall say for now. Off to care for my newly hatched Mimitchi-To-Be Tamagotchi...
