Tamagotchi Log For 9/26/08

9/26/08: The last time I wrote here, I had just hatched a whole bunch of Tamagotchi. In total I had 14 beeping Tamas in my care, the most I've ever cared for at once! Much has gone on with them in the past two weeks, although I do have to pause them a lot. I haven't brought them to school with me, and then this past week I got sick, so they spent days in a row on pause.

I guess I'll start out with talking about my two DigiMon. Since they aren't able to be paused, they reached adult form a week ago. They both became Darkmon, which I wasn't surprised about because I always changed the time during the day so they would sleep. It was the only form of pausing I could think of for them. Making them sleep like that all the time brings this character, since I've done it before.. Hehe. Nonetheless they are both 13 years old. Clear black Digi has 62% victories and brown Digi has 37% victories. I don't know how long these guys will live, but I wish I was able to spend more time with them.

I ran into battery problems today with my Ocean. I had just played a game with him, laid him down, and two minutes later I came back to see a still battery symbol on the screen instead! I'm so mad that happened! I put new batteries in that Tama back in July, which is no time at all. But I believe that it's said Ocean Tamas really eat up the battery power, due to all that tapping and attention it needs. I've kinda lost momentum with my Ocean now... I don't know if I will replace the batteries and start again. He was still a Kuragetchi, but soo close to becoming a teen. I'll see how I feel in the next couple of days.

As for the rest of my Tamas, I have them all laid out next to me so that I can go through them one by one and tell you how they are doing, and what stage they are in. First up we have clear blue P1, which has Tamatchi, age 6 years old and 75% discipline. If all goes well, I'll hopefully get Ginjirotchi back again. :)

Blue/black P2 is a Tongaritchi, age 4 years old, with 75% discipline. My purple/pink P1 is completely in-sync with this Tama, so he is exactly the same only he is a Tamatchi.

Teal/blue P1 has Tamatchi at the age of 4 years, 50% discipline and full hearts across the board.

Blue/yellow clock face Japanese P1 is also a Tamatchi, age 4 years old and 50% discipline. I love this little Tama. :)

Green/yellow P1 is a Tamatchi at the age of 5, 75% discipline and has full hearts.

My yellow/orange P1 is still a Marutchi, because he got paused a lot more then the others. He is 2 years old, 10oz, with 75% discipline and full hearts. He should become a teen in the next couple of days. :)

Silver/black P2 is a Tongaritchi at the age of 5, 45lb and 75% disciplined. I ran into a little incident with this Tama during the week. I had been photographing various Tamas in my collection with my cousin, and had them all laid out on my bed. At that point I learned that two kids that I baby-sit from time to time were coming over. The boy is really rough with everything, and he dives at my Tamas whenever he see's them. I told Beth to help me pack them up quickly before they got here, so we were going crazy trying to put them all away. In the midst of it all, I put my silver P2 in with the rest of my out-of-the box Tamas in their big case, and put it away. I didn't know I had done it at that point, and only found out the next day when I heard it beeping. I pulled him out of the case where all my P1s and P2s were, and the poor thing was covered in poop! He did become a Tongaritchi during that time, though, so I was thankful for that, and the fact that he lived! Hehe. I've been trying to give him good care ever since, but I might end up with someone unhealthy because of what happened.

Today I got the best shock of my life! I had been experimenting with my Japanese Angel, and decided to stick it in a drawer for a week. I did it the first time around two weeks ago, but it just died. I tried again and this time... I got the Lucky Poop! :) But me being me, I pushed some buttons on it, thinking it wouldn't make a difference and it disappeared and 'Thanks' appeared. I restarted that Angel again, and stuck it back in the drawer. I'll get that lucky poop again, and then I will make an animation of it. :) I'm disappointed I reset it, but soo happy I know how to get that thing now!

As for my other Angel Tama, the US version one, he became the best adult, a Kuriten. Angels grow so fast, and that Tama was paused a lot. It's only 4 years old. I'm sure I'll end up with the Futagotenshi twins, but that's okay. I haven't had those guys in a while now. :)

Oh yes and I almost forgot about Morino Tamagotch! He is still an Imotchi at 3 years old. I've worked his weight up to 28 mg so far as well. I'm hoping against hope that I get another adult that I've never had before. Morino is such a great Tama, but so hard to experiment and get adults on. I guess that's why I've been running it for so long. :) When he goes into the cocoon I don't know where I will keep the temperature. Maybe I'll let it plunge into the cold, plunge into the heat and so on. I've never done that before.

So there you have it, my group of 14 Tamas. Well it's really 13 now that Ocean died on me. Oh I forgot to mention Mimitchi Tama, he is still here due to pausing so much. I just looked it up on my list of Tamas, and I've had him here since July 11th. That's over two months now.. I'm sure I'll have to let him go at some point, and just raise him again. There was a time when I never paused him at all, and just brought him back every time. Those were the days I tell you..

I miss writing in these logs. I used to write so much in them! But over the past year I noticed I couldn't keep up with them, and I couldn't find anymore 90s Tamas that I haven't played with before. Most of the ones I don't have are so expensive, I wouldn't be able to afford them. I think that's why I went all out and hatched all of those Tamas at once. I needed to see my buddies who started it all for me. :) I write nearly everyday in the Connection logs, and I love Connection so much. They are becoming one of my favorites. But it's always nice to come back to the older ones.

Anyways, I know I will be back here to write again once these guys become adults! Until then.....
