Well Done, Ember!

9:00 PM, 2008-Jul-25 .. 0 comments .. Link

Another day of the Imaginary Me in my Imaginary World

Ember's managed to get herself a massive pile of homework. You see, yesterday she completely slacked off in all of her classes and did absolutely no work at all. She was told to do all of her unfinished work for homework as well as what was set for homework. She didn't bother to do her homework last night and she's not bothering to do any work at school either. Soon enough, she'll have about 50 pages of homework. My first thought is, "Well done to Ember."

Yesterday we played softball and for just about the first time, I actually hit the ball.

But wait.

There's more.

Here's the sad part.

I practised batting. On Wii Sports.

Yep, you read that right.

I practised batting on a video game.

How's that for sad?

The Dreaded Injections

8:21 PM, 2008-Mar-31 .. 0 comments .. Link

Today, during the morning assembly, Miss Shakou said that the Phys. Ed teacher said that I have to go on a 1.2km jog around the oval despite the fact that it was raining. I had to put a magical waterproof "bubble" around me, plus I had to magically warm my body up. It was an unpleasant jog despite the fact that I never got wet from the rain.

The first half of lunchtime was fairly unpleasant, mainly because Mira was kicking, screaming, crying and fighting because Nurse had to give Mira an injection. Mira's screams are enough to drive anyone insane. I feel a bit sorry for poor Nurse, because she has to put up with Mira's screaming and fighting three times a day. Also, occasionally Nurse has to try and write things such as "Meningococcal-C" in a tiny space in a medical health record.

That afternoon Mira had to have another injection, in her stomach. Her screams were deafening. Maybe I should get Nurse a pair of earmuffs for her to protect herself from Mira's screams!!

Unfortunately for Nurse (and Mira), Mira had to get another injection (this time it was in her arm). I reassured her that I was suffering pain too (I was wearing new pointe shoes so my toes were cramped). That didn't calm Mira down, but Nurse still managed to give Mira the injection anyway. I wonder how Nurse managed.

Nurse told me that she's going to have to give Mira and Sakura the Meningococcal-C injection tomorrow, so I said to Nurse, "Good luck with that!"

I Hate Sport!

At 8.50am, Carolyn had to physically drag me down to the school oval to do Phys. Ed.

I tried to get out of Phys. Ed by pretending that I was sick but Carolyn told the teacher that I was only pretending to be sick so I had to do Phys. Ed anyway.

When we were playing a game of softball I decided to deliberately throw the bat so that I could sit out instead. The teacher decided to be really mean- he said that because of my attitude I should go on a 1.2km run. Lucy and Carolyn had to practically drag me around the course.

After recess, in French class, Carolyn and I were passing notes. She kept on going on and on about how I was going to swim in the pool back at home on Saturday night. I just passed her very simple messages in return, such as "je deteste la natation" but Carolyn ignored me.

Xiara and the Long Distance Flight

8:28 PM, 2008-Mar-13 .. 0 comments .. Link

After lunch Xiara bawled all the way to the Assembly Hall, where we had to go because the whole school had to do the long distance flight. Even the Year 1s had to do the long distance flight, but they would not be able to fly too far because this was their first time and they had only started learning to fly six weeks ago.

Miss Shakou gave me permission to carry Xiara while doing the long distance flight. So, I did, and Xiara cried for the entire forty-minute flight.

The Thought of Physical Exercise

8:23 PM, 2008-Mar-11 .. 0 comments .. Link

Carolyn was teasing me today because I was complaining about doing sport at school today. She said, "What? Does the thought of physical exercise make you cringe?!" I tried to give her a good whack with the baton, but she just dodged it. I did manage to give her a good sharp kick on the back of her leg. She turned around and glared at me. At least she didn't give me the same scary look that Lucy does when she's angry at Emma, Taylah, Locky or me.

Sickly Sweet Smiles

8:22 PM, 2008-Mar-10 .. 0 comments .. Link

Sometimes I wonder if "gazillion" is a real number that everyone thinks is made up. Quite a few people I know say "gazillion." Even Lucy says "gazillion." This morning she told me that I'm "a gazillion times easier to wake up than Carolyn."

I'm going to pretend that a "gazillion" is a number with 50 zeros, just because it's a nice round number. But if "gazillion" does turn out to be a real number, I can always forget that I ever pretended that a "gazillion" has 50 zeros.

Emma's annoying me by talking so sickly-sweet it makes me want to throw up, just like the flight attendants on the aeroplane I went on last Saturday. Just about every five seconds throughout the flight a flight attendant would say, "Do you want a drink?" in the most sickly-sweet voice imaginable. Okay, it wasn't every five seconds but it seemed like it! I nearly threw up every time I heard a flight attendant on that plane speak (Lucy, Carolyn, Amy, Melissa and Stacey included).

And to top it off, the flight attendants had the most sickly-sweet smiles possible. I probably would have fainted. Emma makes it worse by doing it too.

Ask a flight attendant whatever you like and I can almost guarantee that they will respond by talking with a sickly-sweet voice accompanied by a sickly-sweet smile. Once I asked Carolyn to flush the aeroplane toilet for me and guess what she did? She said, "I'll watch for when you come out and then I'll go and flush it for you!" in a sickly-sweet and high-pitched voice, smiling sweetly as she spoke. After I came out of the toilet she walked down the aisle, smiling all the way, then she opened the toilet door and went in the cubicle to flush the toilet, probably smiling sweetly as she did so, next she came out and spoke to me, talking in a sickly sweet voice and smiling sweetly.

That's not all. Every Saturday night, when we go on an aeroplane, Taylah and Locky always "forget" to put their seatbelts on and always put up a fight when they're told to put it on. Once I saw Stacey doing up a seatbelt over Locky's lap, smiling as she did so, despite the fact that Locky was fighting and struggling.

I've even seen flight attendants smiling sweetly while doing the safety demo. I'm not sure how you're meant to smile while pointing out emergency exits and demonstrating how to put on a life jacket.

The Mimaiyan Language

6:28 PM, 2008-Mar-6 .. 0 comments .. Link

Having to speak Mimaiyan really gets on my nerves sometimes because occasionally my tongue makes a sort of backflip. Sometimes my tongue makes a big knot (well it feels like that anyway).

In class I asked the teacher how to say something like:

Ma anu Diani Biekain Diclatau Lalya

(which happens to end up as "me and Diani Biekain bomb dived"- a total mess of words). The teacher said, "For a start, you could use proper grammar!" (The teacher actually said that in Mimaiyan and not in English.)

I also hate writing in Mimaiyan. I feel like I may as well be writing in shorthand! It is "squiggle squiggle squiggle dot, squiggle dot dot dot dot DOT!" My full name has a ton of dots- fourteen dots altogether and six come from just my first name!

I made up a song about writing Mimaiyan to the tune of "Gimme Dat Ding." It goes: "Squiggle dot, squiggle dot, squiggle squiggle dot dot, squiggle dot, squiggle squiggle dot, squiggle dot dot." There is more but it goes in a very similar way!

Flexibility Making People Nauseous

6:18 PM, 2008-Mar-5 .. 0 comments .. Link

Today I woke up at 7.45am. I was panicking about being late but it turned out that I wasn't going to be late because I had an extension course at another school which starts at 9am.

After the extension course and school Emma, Taylah and I had dancing. The teachers kept our noses to the grindstone, as usual. This year we have to do the plits very quickly in our theatrical dance. There is an alternative but since my right leg splits are nearly flat I'm going to do the splits. Emma said that watching me being nearly flat in my splits, Taylah being flat in her splits and Mum being in an oversplit made her feel nauseous.

The Old Mimaiyan Numbers

6:16 PM, 2008-Mar-4 .. 0 comments .. Link

Just before school started I walked down the hallway at school with Lucy and Stacey following me. Biekain saw me and laughed at me for having "bodyguards." I told him that Lucy and Stacey aren't bodyguards and they're just plain annoying. Next I told Biekain that I'm avoiding Lucy because she was giving me "you should be ashamed of yourself" looks because I can't read the old Mimaiyan numbers. Biekain told me not to worry (which was a surprise seeing as we're pretty much enemies ) as he can't read the old Mimaiyan numbers either, and he should be more ashamed because he's nearly a year older than me.

I then had to say goodbye because I had to go to my class for Mimaiyan and Biekain had to go to his class for magic.

Separation House

6:15 PM, 2008-Mar-3 .. 0 comments .. Link

About a week ago, Emma, Taylah and Locky have managed the impossible: escaping from the Mimaiyan Palace for four days before getting caught by Lucy.

Yesterday I kicked Stacey, so Lucy said I was to live in Separation House with Stacey. So I started being really nasty to Stacey. In the end Stacey asked Lucy to come to Separation House because I was being a big pain in the neck.

Flying Low- But Still Flying!

6:13 PM, 2008-Feb-15 .. 0 comments .. Link

Xiara isn't able to fly or hover in mid-air because she is afraid- even if it's just a few centimetres off the ground! I tried to fly and carry her at the same time- but she screamed really loudly!

At about 10pm, Xiara woke up because she had a nightmare about flying. After a bit of encouragement, Xiara flew a couple of centimetres off the bed!

The Speed and Accuracy Flight

6:12 PM, 2008-Feb-12 .. 0 comments .. Link
Today I had to do the "Speed and Accuracy Flight" where I have to fly around a bundle of obstacles such as trees as fast as possible. I finished the course first. Today Diani managed to complete the course without banging into a tree! This is the first time that she's managed to do that!

The Great Escape

Another Day of Imaginary Me in my Imaginary World

Emma dared me to tap dance in the cafeteria of Tamagotchi Academy while singing the theme song of the movie "Tamagotchi: Dokidoki! Uchuu no Maigotchi!" I did it while everyone in the cafeteria stared at me. At the end of that I sat down and ate my lunch. My lunch was disgusting so I flew onto a nearby aeroplane and took a slad from there (asking for permission first, of course). The salad tasted better than what I was meant to have for lunch.

At about 4pm, Emma went to the toilet. She didn't really go, she just locked the door and then teleported to Tomyashi.

The Stewardesses were worried about Emma when she hadn't come back from the toilet an hour later. Carolyn unlocked the toilet door from the outside and opened it. Emma was nowhere to be found.

Later, at about 8pm, The Stewardesses were getting extremely worried about Emma. So The Stewardesses frantically searched for Emma. Taylah, Locky and I helped.

I had a vision of Emma sitting in a movie theatre in Tomyashi. So I teleported to Tomyashi and believe it or not, Emma really was sitting in a movie theatre, watching "Tamagotchi: Dokidoki! Uchuu no Maigotchi!"

I telepathically told The Stewardesses about Emma. They teleported to where I was. We all managed to take Emma back home, where she was scolded and given punishments.

Memories

Another Day of Imaginary Me in my Imaginary World

I remember even more things from the time I was younger. I wish I had forgotten some of the things I remembered- like when I lost a game we were playing in maths class quite a few years ago and then someone said, "I thought you were so smart!" I feel like that alone could ruin me for life.

I found some stories that I wrote when I was about five years old. They are called "Kayleuetski Maude," "The Radiologist who Dyed her Hair Green" and "All Except Kayleuetski." I also managed to find a tory with no title and a letter I wrote to Diani years ago. Some of them are rather amusing to read.

Being Dared to Do Something... and Doing It!

Another Day of the Imaginary Me in my Imaginary World

The Stewardesses made us pick another job to do along with our daily tasks like serving the meals and helping Misa with her homework. We all got to choose a job so I chose taking out the washing, Locky chose taking in the washing, Taylah chose vacuuming and Emma chose to clean the toilets. Just like her to choose that.

We also had to go back to school on Monday the 4th. I hate the fact that I start at 8am while Taylah and Emma start at 8.40am.

Just for a joke, Kat dared Carolyn to go into class with me. Carolyn actually did it- though if a dare was related to getting Carolyn's hair dirty she would not do it.

One of our classes has to put on a play for the school. The topic chosen, believe it or not, was my history! I, of course, will play the part of... myself!

Being Odd

Another day of Imaginary Me in my Imaginary World

Lucy and Stacey took Xiabi, Xiara, Ember and I to school to get our books and timetables.

While we were waiting in a queue, Biekain happened to pass by and started annoying us, so I magically sent him spinning across the room.

Thankfully Diani also came by so we could just talk to each other and ignore Biekain, until Miss Shakou wanted to test Diani's magic to see if Diani still needs to do magic classes with the younger grades. Luckily for her it turns out that she doesn't need to anymore.

In the afternoon Emma, Taylah, Locky and I gathered some other people and then we all started listening to childish tapes and singing silly songs.

In a tape called, "Maggie Goes to School" one of the voices on the tape said, "Maggie is very obedient, just like you!" Emma, Taylah, Locky and I started laughing our heads off.

We also listened to a tape called, "Musical Times Tables." We all sang along with the tape. Carolyn entered the room and absent-mindedly sang, "Six threes are sixteen," while we all tried not to giggle.

Dream Travelling

4:43 PM, 2008-Jan-27 .. 0 comments .. Link

Emma, Taylah, Locky, Lucy, Stacey and I travelled into my Dream Book- the book in which I write down all of my dreams.

Most of the dreams are about aeroplanes or toilets. Some are a bit odd. One is about being stuck on a very large plane with many places to explore, but Stacey yells at us and forbids us to go anywhere outside the cabin. Despite this we explore the aeroplane and enter the restricted areas.

Another dream was about being on an aeroplane. A few hours into the flight Taylah pressed the Attendant Call button on her remote. When a flight attendant came, Taylah took off her shoes and socks, shoved one foot in the flight attendant's face and said, "Massage my feet!"

Toilet Terror

12:57 AM, 2008-Jan-25 .. 0 comments .. Link

Today Emma, Taylah, Locky and I discussed our toilet experiences. Lucy and Stacey rolled their eyes but kept quiet, until I shrieked after Emma told us one of her experiences. I was so afraid, Stacey had to escort me to the toilet. She flushed it with the lid open to prove that water won't spit back at me when it is flushed. (That's one of my fears.) And I kept on trying to put off using the toilet.

In the end Lucy took me to Xikun. Xikun told me that if I do not try to do something then I have already failed, but if I did try then I have a chance of doing well.

Fear of Public Transport

12:03 PM, 2008-Jan-23 .. 0 comments .. Link

The Stewardesses took Emma, Taylah, Locky and I to the city. I think they took me in an attempt to cure my fear of public transport.

We had to catch the bus to the train station. Thank goodness it came on time. Then we had to catch a train. At the station we could see the train nearby but it had stopped and the train driver got out for what must have been a bathroom break. Misa tried to run onto the tracks so I read the words from a nearby "Keep Off the Tracks" sign in a soft and spooky voice.

Soon the train came and we got on. Emma was being stupid- she pretended to be a flight stewardess doing the safety demonstration even though we were on a train. I sat next to Stacey and kept quiet throughout the trip.

Finally we arrived at the city. We pretty much split up into groups- Amy, Melissa and Carolyn went one way and the rest of us went another way. We basically just walked around and looked at stuff for a few hours before going home by car (Aki and Tanaka came to the city to pick us up).

Lectures and More Lectures

11:59 AM, 2008-Jan-22 .. 0 comments .. Link

Lucy scolded me for using the computer when I am supposed to be grounded. And then I got an even longer lecture from Lucy because I watched "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" on TV. I got so fed up I just flew away. I flew onto the nearest aeroplane and grabbed onto the closest flight attendant's arm, screaming, "Save me! Save me! The Stewardesses are going to beat me!"

Soon Lucy, Stacey, Amy, Melissa and Carolyn arrived. The flight attendant who I was holding on to asked them if they really were going to beat me up. Of course, they said no, and took me home, so I had to suffer a forty minute long lecture from them. The Great Dragon was also there and he lectured me as well. There might be an encore later.
