My dad's high medical costs will mean my folks have less money to help me with. So a couple hundred extra dollars per month will be very helpful. Last night we went to a club downtown to see a good '80s cover band, and I wasn't driving so I could get good and drunk (but not drunk enough to have a hangover - yay). This weekend we are also going to the Wild Animal Park and a winery. So it will be a full weekend, and one I don't want to end. Meanwhile, I have decided to be just friends with Mr. NY. We have differing philosophies about how obligatory our chats are, plus I want to give him the option to have kids, and I don't really want them. At first he seemed to be getting used to the jacket, and I had some hope. But now he's decided that when I put it on him (which he's started fighting), he'll just lie down in the same place where I put the jacket on him, and he won't move until I take it off. That pretty much defeats the purpose of the jacket, so I'm going to send it back. I guess Murray is just too old (six or seven) and set in his ways to be taught. Too bad. I was hoping to expose him again to the sights and sounds and smells of the great outdoors, which he's been deprived of since he stopped being a stray and moved in with me. I always attract older guys - in my twenties I attracted men in their forties and in my thirties I attract men in their fifties. He also wants kids and I really don't. He lives in NY but is moving here soon. I feel a definite spark. He is very handsome and well spoken. I had gone out a couple times with another nice guy but there was no passion. He was too focused on getting physical and mocked my old school values. He also said I'm a bad kisser! So I told him to get lost. Sat nite was supposed to go dancing with another guy but the club was closed and the guy got lost anyway. So we planned to meet at a Denny's but he got lost again. So I said forget it. Sunday had a pleasant lunch with another guy. I would see him again.
