Tamagotchi Philippines
ï Sunday, October 28, 2007 - The No-Look V4.5 Climb
Climb for the V4.5 has got to be one of the easiest games ever made for Tamagotchi. As stated in my guide to climb , it is divided into three timed parts unlike V4's jump rope that varies speed every time you play.
You can even play synchronized climb with two V4.5 tamagotchis since the speed per part is the same.
I got myself thinking. How do you make Climb harder?
Then out of curiosity, I wondered if I can win Climb without looking at the screen/blindfolded/eyes closed. Yes, there aren't a lot of games in the Tamagotchi that can be possibly played without looking at it. Jump rope can sometimes be played and won blindfolded, but it will still require a lot of luck. V3's bump can also be done due to its randomness and works well with an overweight tamagotchi.
And I managed to do it after two tries, using my Climb method before with a little variation. Instead of counting pixels, I counted numbers and said the jump number at the end to help me differentiate the three parts of Climb.
So let me give you the no-look method of winning Climb.
Jumps 1-3: Slow
As soon as you hear the end tone signaling the start of the game, count from 1 to 3 normally, then on the fourth count, jump. Add one second to wait for your tama to jump and land on the next cloud and start the counts again. I often say the number of how many jumps I already did at the fourth count just to keep track.
1...2...3...1(jump)! (wait)
1...2...3...2(jump)! (wait)
1...2...3...3(jump)! (wait)
And you've finished part one!
Jumps 4-24: Medium
The pace of the clouds would increase a bit.
One wait second after you've made jump #3, we just vary the count a little by counting up until two only then jumping on the third count. This will continue up to Jump 24
1...2...4(jump)! (wait)
1...2...5(jump)! (wait)
1...2...6(jump)! (wait)
...
...
...
1...2...24(jump)! (wait)
And you've finished part two!
Jumps 25-30: Fast
The clouds are mostly short and medium of length. Their movement is insanely fast. The speed from medium to fast, compared from the shift from slow to medium, is very noticeable.
Just press the jump button from 25-30, with one second of waiting to let the tama jump from one cloud to the other. It's foolproof.
25(jump)! (wait)
26(jump)! (wait)
27(jump)! (wait)
28(jump)! (wait)
29(jump)! (wait)
30(jump)!
And you've won the game!
I've tried it ten times at the time of this writing to ensure that it will work, and I haven't lost one no-look Climb using this method. |
