Here is a video of Mametchi competing in the Japanese version of Mario Kart GP 2 in the arcades that will soon be released worldwide in English.
In my opinion, Mametchi still looks out-of-place in this game most likely due to its dull coloring compared to the big, bold, bright colors they used for the place and all the other characters. But hey, it's still Mametchi! It will bring a new audience to this game which will only benefit Namco Bandai and Nintendo.
Is it me or is the music in this stage sound like a background music in Tamatown?
Hope we see more Tamagotchi-related characters in other games. I won't mind him if Mametchi appears in a Super Smash Bros game. :) |
