Tamagotchi Philippines

ï 2008-Mar-3 - And the Secret Character Appears

Posted in Tama Logs

One good thing about the Masukutchi is that by getting it, you're opening a possibility of achieving the secret character for the Tamagotchi P1.  I'm pretty lucky to have this character in my second try in raising a P1.

Meet Bill.  By never missing an opportunity to discpline the Masukutchi and taking way better care of him than I did before he became an adult, he changed into Bill before going to bed yesterday.

Despite looking like a disembodied head on two feet, Bill is a good character to have.  He is not that needy and doesn't get sick often.  It's also well-known that he lives quite a long time on Earth before he passes away from old age.

ï 2008-Feb-28 - It's a Masukutchi!

Posted in Tama Logs

I am getting better in taking care of the Tamagotchi P1.  As I've gained experience in taking care of this needier, original version of the Tamagotchi, my "second generation" yielded a better character this time around.

Babytchi ---> Marutchi ---> Tamatchi ---> Masukutchi

Yes, the masukutchi, the middle character, the average pet.  Not too good, not too bad.  But hey, at least it's way better than the nyorotchi that I got the first time around.

ï 2008-Feb-22 - My P1 Became an Angel Today

Posted in Tama Logs

I've completed my first Tamagotchi P1 life cycle today.  He died of old age at 7 years old.

Babytchi ---> Marutchi ---> Tamatchi ---> Nyorotchi

Yes, my adult was the second unhealthiest P1 character you can get.  It was due to that one incident in his tamatchi life where I actually missed taking care of him alongside my other 10 active tamagotchis.  He beeped to call my attention, and I saw that all his hungry hearts were empty while his happy heart was at one.

Nyorotchi as Tamagotchi Mobile pointed out, was very sickly.  He needed attention quite often.

I'm just glad that Bandai chose to have generations in their future tamagotchis.  I'm sure back then, kids were crying because of their pet dying of old age and becoming an angel.  It's a bit easy to get attached to these little critters.

ï 2007-Dec-2 - V4.5 - Does grouping teens/adults into families have a point?

3rd gen shirotsubutchi kuchitamatchi ura young memetchi purimatchi ura togetchi
4th gen shirotsubutchi kuchitamatchi ura young memetchi ura violetchi

With these small sampling of V4.5 logs, I honestly do not see the point to group the teens and adults into Ura Mame, Ura Meme and Ura Kuchi families.

My Daiyatchi, who is often placed in the Ura Meme family by some Tamagotchi V4.5 people evolved into a Ura Mametchi then a Hyottokotchi who are apparently in the Ura Mame.  My Ura Young Marotchi, who is often placed in the Ura Mame family turned into a Ura Memetchi then a Hanagatchi are Ura Meme members. My crackertchi, often placed in the Ura Mame family evolved into a Ura Kuchipatchi then a mukimukitchi.

These and other samples in my V4.5 logs show proof that teens/adults are not that restricted to their supposed families unlike the Tamagotchi Connection V4.

Why do we need to restrict ourselves to their supposed specific families if a teen can evolve into an adult in another family?  I'd also like to know where they got the information that Crackertchi is supposed to be from the Ura Mametchi family, that the Kujakutchi is from the Ura Memetchi family and the like.

Some V4.5 posts in forums complain that their Ura Mame character turned into a Ura Kuchi character may be a result of this family grouping, fitting characters into families much like the V4.

Maybe, it's best to accept that the V4.5 has a different growth chart/cycle than the V4.

ï 2007-Nov-1 - It's November 1; my Simasimatchi mated a Mohitamatchi

Posted in Tama Logs

I've heard that the matchmaker brings different adults, regardless of gender to mate with your tamagotchi.  For example, a mametchi can be female or male as long as the matchmaker brings them along.  This is a known fact.  I'm not sure where the matchmaker grabs a female mametchi, but apparently, she has her sources.

Today, the matchmaker came to my V4 Simasimatchi (Rondo), and to my surprise, she brought a mohitamatchi.  Yes, the genderless toddler mohitamatchi.  It was even floating because it was a few pixels above the normal walking ground of an adult tamagotchi.  Apparently, the mohitamatchi was floating so that when the two mated, they could kiss on the lips.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snap a picture of it since I didn't have a camera readily available, but I chose to mate it with my simasimatchi, and they produced a pretty healthy shirotsubutchi.  Everything seems normal so far despite my adult mating with a toddler.  Yes, it sounds bad, like a case of pedophilia or immaculate conception.

Great timing for this strange occurence though, right smack on November 1, where people in the Philippines often go visit their loved ones in cemeteries to pray for their souls.  As I looked in the logs, apparently, Rondo's parent, Milan the Makiko, was a mohitamatchi when she was a toddler.

Was this Rondo's mother in toddler form?  Whatever it is, it's funny and at the same time, spooky.  Glitchy even.

ï 2007-Oct-10 - My First V4.5 Adult

Posted in Tama Logs
Hyottokotchi
Sweet!  Just a day after my daiyatchi turned into a Ura Mametchi, my tamagotchi turned into one of three special adults once its intelligence hit 350 and the other stats added up to 150.

Meet the hyottokotchi!

Not bad for my first adult.

Unlike in V4 where the special ones bear somewhat of a resemblance to the original adult that they came from, the V4.5 version's Tensaitchi counterpart's looks are far from the Ura Mametchi breed.

ï 2007-Sep-1 - No Action for Today

Posted in Tama Logs
I had all my tamagotchis paused for today.  I had my whole day lined up with activities (even a table tennis tournament!) that I absolutely couldn't take care of them the way I want to.
