ï 2008-Mar-26 - Another Easter Animation?

Egg-hatching Easter Animation? I remember the rabbit coming to the screen and pushing an egg around, but not this one.
It could be, since it's happening around the latter part of March up to early April. |

ï 2007-Oct-9 - My V4 Pyontitchi Finally Got a Job!

I know what you're thinking. Why do I need to get a bit excited about my tamagotchi getting a job? Isn't it easy to get a job in a V4?
Not when your pet has 0 skills in all categories and weighs 99 lbs. Try it. It's near impossible to get a job with those stats. After all, Bandai states in their www.tamagotchi.com website that in order to get accepted into a job, it has to have at least 80 in a specific skill depending on the job.
Let's say for example your tamagotchi wants to become a TV newscaster, an "intelligence" job, it needs to have at least 80 in its intelligence skill.
This Pyontitchi named Tonie is a result of my V4 strategy to get a Pyontitchi/Pyonkotchi. If you want to get this character, you can read it here.
Tonie went to a total of 16 job interviews, equivalent to receiving the [!] four times. For every job that Tonie tried, the judges all unanimously gave 3 X's.
It seemed that way again when he looked for a job for the fourth time, getting 3 X's in the circus, airport and bakery. Things changed when he reached the school. To his surprise, they accepted Tonie to become a teacher.
Glitch, actual built in code or whatever, his persistence certainly paid off.
For some reason, there is still a possibility that your V4 tamagotchi can get a job despite low or no skill points. |

ï 2007-Oct-6 - V4 - How to get a Pyonkotchi/Pyontitchi
I've tested this caring technique 7 times already, and 7 times it has yielded the same result. I believe this is already enough to place this under V4 facts.
How to breed a Pyonkotchi / Pyontitchi
1. First, you need a V4 newborn tamagotchi. If you want to get a Pyonkotchi, it needs to be a female. For a Pyontitchi, it should be male.
2. As soon as it is born and named, feed it food and snacks to keep its hunger and happy hearts full. If you see an empty heart, replenish it immediately with a snack or food. If it gets sick, cure it immediately.
3. Don't ever play games with it, or go to classes. Don't feed it skill increasing food/snacks. Keep all of its skill points to 0.
4. Place its training levels to its highest. This means praising or placing it time out once it is needed.
In essence, you are still taking care of your tamagotchi properly, training it to its fullest, not letting it get sick (toothaches are ok), and keeping it filled and happy. However, it doesn't have any skill points in all categories, wheher in fashion, intelligence or kindness. Its weight is also 99 lbs come teenage or adult years since it doesn't play any games to lose that weight.
If you've followed the instructions correctly, it will undergo the normal growth of a tamagotchi. It won't turn into a universal teenager, but once it evolves into an adult, it should be a pyonkotchi or a pyontitchi.

ï 2007-Oct-1 - Leaving Animation

Many Tamagotchi owners haven't seen this special animation when the parent is entrusting their baby to your care since we are often asleep when this happens (if the set time is the same as your own time).
During the second or third day (depends on when the child was born and how long you've paused the game) since the coupling of the two tamagotchis, the parent and child go to sleep. At 11:59 PM, the adult wakes up, turns on the light and takes a long look at her sleeping baby. When it nears 12 midnight, it expresses happiness, and goes up the screen until it fully disappears. The lights turn off by themselves; the baby left sleeping.

ï 2007-Sep-21 - V4 - Food/Snacks That Increase Skill Points
Aside from games and school, there are also certain types of food and snacks that can increase your tama's skill points. These, combined with the games and school make it easier for you to up your tama's points. This makes it much easier and faster to get that makiko, tensaitchi or nonbiritchi.
[Intelligence]
* Fish = +3
* Omelette = +2
* Ice Cream = +1
* Beef = +1
[Social/Kindness]
* Banana = +3
* Corn = +2
* Grapes = +1
* Sandwich = +1
[Fashion/Art]
* Donut = +3
* Cupcake = +2
* Cheesecake = +1
* Cherries = +1
[All Skills]
* Yoghurt = +2
* Melon = + 1
No wonder these food/snacks cost so much. |

ï 2007-Aug-29 - Ichigotchi's Base Weight
I've seen one too many concerned users of the V4 Tamagotchi Connection about their Ichigotchi being underweight, going as low as 0lbs. Most of them are even panicking, thinking that their beloved pet will die because of this, or a major tamagotchi glitch has come upon their electronic gadget.
Don't fret Tama caretakers. It's not a bug or even a virus! Apparently, Bandai has placed zero as the Ichigotchi's base weight.
I have photos of my Ichigotchi as well to prove this fact.

Maybe strawberry-like Tamagotchis really are light. :) |
